Spider-Man: No Way Home first official poster revealed

With the release of the upcoming Spider-Man film being only a month away, Marvel has released a new poster which hints at the villains Peter will be facing.

In the official trailer, we already saw Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus say hello to Peter, along with Green Goblins pumpkin bombs, but until now, we didn’t know what Green Goblin looked like. At the top of the poster, none other than Green Goblin can be seen on his glider, wearing his iconic costume.

Other members of the Sinister Six also got hinted towards as next to Green Goblin is a lightning strike, a clear reference to Electro. Along with that, a sandstorm is going on behind Spider-Man, the first hint towards Sandman making an appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

McAfee is being acquired for $14 Billion

The security software company McAfee has recently announced that an investor group has acquired their company for $14 billion.

The acquisition would make the security software company no longer be a public stock but will become a private company due to the investor group buyout. In a recent blog post, Chief Executive Officer of TPG and Chair of the McAfee Board, Jon Winkelried has stated that the acquisition "signals continued growth and opportunity for McAfee.”

Over the last four years, the company has expanded its product portfolio, enhanced its go-to-market strategy, and pursued strategic M&A, including the divestiture of its enterprise business.” With the acquisition deal, McAfee will be able to continue its transformation and growth as a cybersecurity company.

McAfee will be selling to investor groups such as Advent International Corp., Permira Advisers, and Crosspoint Capital Partners. The deal between McAfee and the investor groups is expected to close in the first half of 2022.

OpTic Gaming and Envy merge to create OpTic Texas CDL team

After hinting towards the move for months, OpTic Gaming and Team Envy have merged their two organizations to form a new Call of Duty League team, OpTic Texas.

After a disappointing CDL season for both Envy and OpTic, the two teams have merged. It has been in the works since the end of the 2021 Call of Duty League season and will retire both the OpTic Chicago and Dallas Empire branding.

The new roster for the upcoming season will consist of Hotzzy, iLLeY, Scump and Dashy, and Rambo returning as coach.

“We’ve competed against each other since 2008, and I have a ton of respect for Hector and what he’s built,” Envy’s chief gaming officer Mike “Hastr0” Rufail said in a press release. “We genuinely care about each other. We are going to be much stronger together than apart.”

“I love Dallas, Seth loves Dallas, everyone in OpTic loves being in Texas,” OpTic Gaming CEO Hector “HECZ” Rodriguez said. “This is the best thing for OpTic. Period.”
