🛍️ Walmart to launch self-driving delivery service
This is the future
Hey Waivly Crew! 🌊 Walmart is planning to test self-driving cars in multiple cities with Ford and Argo AI. Gary Vee has announced he will be auctioning five original VeeFriends at a Christie’s auction later this year.
Walmart is launching an autonomous delivery service
Walmart, automaker Ford, and Self-driving start-up Argo AI are teaming up to launch an autonomous vehicle delivery service.
What is the service?
The service will allow you to place orders for groceries and other items using Walmart's ordering platform, which will be integrated with Argo’s cloud-based infrastructure to route orders and schedule package deliveries to customers homes.
When will it launch?
The three companies have announced that they are planning to launch their service in Miami, Austin, Texas, and Washington D.C, with initial testing expected to begin by the end of 2021.
“This collaboration will further our mission to get products to the homes of our customers with unparalleled speed,” said Tom Ward, senior vice president of last-mile delivery at Walmart.
VeeFriends is heading to Christie’s
Yesterday during an interview, Gary Vee announced five original hand-drawn VeeFriends are heading to Christie’s auction this October.
A great partnership
Gary has partnered up with Christie’s, one of the most prestigious auction houses in the world, to auction five VeeFriends. Unlike VeeFriends listed on NFT marketplaces in the past, they are original physical artwork created and drawn by Gary.
Since Gary Vee launched VeeFriends, as of today, it is the seventh-largest NFT collection on OpenSea, by volume, floor price, and other statistics. A big reason for this is that owners get more than just the art, as each NFT comes with a three-year access pass to VeeCon, an exclusive conference for VeeFriends token holders.
What is VeeFriends?
On VeeFriends website, the collection is described as “Gary Vaynerchuk’s NFT collection. He created VeeFriends to bring to life his ambitions of building a community around his creative and business passions using NFT technology and their smart contract capabilities. By owning a VeeFriend NFT, you immediately become part of the VeeFriends community and get access to VeeCon.”
