Cryptocurrency mining in Thailand has reportedly received a massive boost due to the cryptocurrency ban in China earlier this year.

After China’s crypto ban was enforced in September, Thai entrepreneurs and cryptocurrency businesses quickly bought all the computer processors needed to mine Bitcoin being sold by Chinese miners.

An industry entrepreneur, Pongsakorn Tongtaveenan, recently started a reseller business for crypto mining devices in Thailand, and so far, it has been extremely successful.

Pongsakorn believes retail crypto mining in Thailand is becoming more popular due to people looking for a stable income during the pandemic. Investors have also been getting more optimistic about the future of cryptocurrency and other digital assets.
