Disney has announced that it is adding an IMAX aspect ratio for Marvel films, including Shang-Chi, Black Widow, and eleven other Marvel films.

On November 12th, in celebration of Disney+ Day, users will have a choice to watch their favourite superhero movies in a 1.90:1 IMAX aspect ratio which is 26 percent normal than the regular widescreen format used in Marvel films, making it easier to ignore the black bars.

If you prefer to watch movies at home, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will debut on Disney+ on Thursday for no extra charge.
