Apple Releases iOS 15.2 With App Privacy Report, Legacy Contacts, Hide My Email Improvements and More - MacRumors
Apple

Apple has released iOS 15.2, featuring a range of new features and fixes, such as an app privacy report, a new Siri-only Apple Music plan, and more.

⠀

The new App Privacy Report included in the update shows which apps are accessing your location, photos, camera, microphone contacts, and more during the last seven days, as well as their network activity.

⠀

For all the music lovers, Apple has rolled out access to its lower-cost Apple Music, first introduced this fall at the company’s hardware event. For $5 per month, subscribers can access the full library of songs, playlists, and radio stations via Siri.

⠀

In iOS 15.2, Apple has added a way to add 'Legacy Contacts' to your iCloud account, giving friends and family access to your account when you die. In the past, it’s been difficult for loved ones to access an iCloud account of a family member who died. Now, selected contacts will be able to access saved photos, messages, notes, and files.
