Google has officially revealed the Google Pixel 6 and Goggle Pixel 6 Pro, its Tensor chip, and more. Here’s a quick recap of the event.
After months of leaks and rumours, we finally got to see the Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, which cost $599 and $899 and are available for pre-order now. Both phones feature a 50-megapixel camera and an ultra-wide camera, and the Pro has an extra camera to improve the front camera quality with a wider lens and higher-resolution sensor..
Powered by Tensor
Google’s new phones, for the first time, will be powered by the company’s own SoC, called Tensor. It gives the new phones better hardware for image processing and voice recognition. Tensor includes four ARM Cortext A55 cores, two 2.25GHz A76 cores, and two Cortex X1 cores running at 2.8GHz for foreground processing.
