🎮 FaZe Clan and OpTic Gaming collab is coming
It's been a long time coming
Hey Waivly Crew! 🌊 FaZe Clan and OpTic Gaming have officially announced a long-awaited merchandise collaboration. Chip shortages have forced GM to shut down its North American factories.
Battlefield Mobile beta is coming to Android
Back in April, EA revealed a mobile version of Battlefield was in the works, but until now, there have been very few details surrounding it.
Before Battlefield Mobile is released to the public, sometime in 2022, it will have a series of Android-only playtests. The first playtest will start this fall in Indonesia and the Philippines, and as time goes on, the size of the tests will increase, along with being available in more regions.
Specialists showed in action
On Twitter, Battlefield released more gameplay of its upcoming mobile game, showing off a series of specialists including, Webster Mackay, Wikus ‘Caspter’ Van Daele, Maria Falck, and Pyotr ‘Boris’ Guskovsky. Each specialist will have its own unique specialist trait along with fully customizable loadouts.
Classes will be included
Similar to what we have seen in the past, Battlefield Mobile will have four classes, Assault, Support, Medic, and Recon. At the start of the test, only the Grand Bazaar map, and the classic Battlefield game mode, Conquest, will be playable.
GM shuts down North American factories due to the chip shortage
General Motors has announced that they will be halting production in six of their North American factories due to the current global chip shortage which has halted car manufacturing.
Which car manufacturing plants have been affected?
GM's car manufacturing plants affected by the temporary shutdown include plants in Fort Wayne, Indiana; Wentzville, Missouri; Spring Hill, Tennessee, and Lansing, Michigan. Four factories in Mexico and Canada will be affected by the temporary shutdown as well, so GM can shore up their supply of chips needed to manufacture their cars. Many of GM's most profitable vehicles like its pickup trucks and SUVs will be greatly affected by the temporary shutdown.
What will GM do during the temporary shutdown?
According to The Verge, GM will be repairing and shipping the unfinished vehicles from plants impacted by the shutdown such as the one in Fort Wayne, to auto dealerships to help the strong product demand from their customers. GM is confident and is working to find creative solutions to reduce any impact on their highly demanded vehicles such as the Chevy Silverado, the Buick Enclave, and Cadillac XT5.

FaZe Clan and OpTic announce merchandise collab
FaZe Clan and OpTic Gaming are officially launching a merchandise collaboration after months of news and leaks.
In a tweet from FaZe Clan, we got to see the first official glimpse at the collab between FaZe and OpTic, showing the two organizations coming together for the first time to release merch.
Revealed by FaZe Banks
After YouTuber Mike Majlak accidentally leaked the collab in a vlog, Banks announced it to the public in an episode of his podcast Mom’s Basement with Keemstar, saying, "We’re doing an official collab with OpTic, FaZe is, and it’s pretty f**king legendary.”
Rivalry set the path
FaZe Clan and OpTic have had a friendly rivalry for over ten years now, driving each other to be bigger and better than the other and launching the Call of Duty community from the ground up, so it's no surprise they are collaborating.
The beauty of competition
“Without FaZe and the fresh new look they brought to the fast-growing esports and gaming entertainment landscape, OpTic and gaming culture wouldn’t be where it is today, for it was FaZe and their innovations that helped gamers transcend gaming,” OpTic Gaming Owner & CEO Hector ‘HECZ’ Rodriguez commented.
