Halo Infinite's co-op campaign delayed until May 2022

Won't debut with multiplayer

The highly anticipated Halo Infinite is dropping on December 8th, but it will not include the co-op campaign. Players may have to wait just a little longer for the campaign to be available.

Head of creative of Halo Infinite, Joseph Staten said in an interview with Eurogamer explained that the co-op campaign can be expected to be released in season 2. Season 1 of Halo Infinite is extended by three months, so the second season may drop in May 2022. Staten during the interview has also explained that Forge campaign will still be launching during season 3, but there is no specific date set for the launch.

The co-op campaign in Halo Infinite is technically playable right now, but Staten has stated that their development team wants to take extra time to make sure the campaign is stable and it works properly before officially launching it. The timelines for the launch of the Forge and the co-op campaign may change based on the priorities that comes up for the studio, so players may have to wait a bit longer to play co-op with their friends.
