Hyundai reveals new electric SUV concept
Made its debut at the LA Auto Show
Yesterday at the 2021 Los Angeles Auto Show, Hyundai revealed a new electric vehicle concept called the Hyundai Seven.
⠀
The Hyundai Seven is currently just a concept, so there’s no guarantee it will go into production. However, with how popular electric SUVs have become in the past few years, Hyundai Seven will likely make its debut.
⠀
Hyundai shared that the concept is a category-bending electric SUV that highlights “an aerodynamically pure silhouette instinctively divergent from a typical SUV”.
⠀
To stay safe, a “Hygiene Air Flow” system is featured in the car's interior that isolates the airflow between front and rear passengers. Seats can also be customized “depending on driver-controlled or autonomous driving modes,” with a retractable joystick that replaces the steering wheel when the car is in self-driving mode.
⠀
The Hyundai Seven is capable of charging from 10 percent to 80 percent in about 20 minutes using chargers with 350kW capacity and has a range of over 300 miles.
