Microsoft shows off Halo Infinite's campaign

It's looking a lot better

Only two months before its launch, 343 Industries has finally gave us a new look at Halo Infinite’s campaign mode.

The last time we got to see footage of Halo Infinite’s campaign mode was back in July of 2020, and it was a bit underwhelming, to say the least. Now 343 Industries and Microsoft have released a six-minute trailer for the single-player story.

The new trailer shows off a lot of never-seen-before gameplay, including new weapons, enemies, menacing bosses, and more. A new AI companion character called "The Weapon" will be helping players on their journey to battle the Banished and find out what happened to Cortana.

The reaction to the new trailer has been a lot more positive than the previous un-polished trailers. Along with gameplay, the trailer gives another look at the infamous fan dubbed “Craig,” the brute, who became an instant meme when a close-up of its face showed off how poor the original trailer graphics were. It’s safe to safe the brutes have had a makeover since then and now look a lot more realistic and detailed.
