Samsung set to add a new TV feature that supports NFTs
Samsung has recently announced that they are planning extensive support for NFTs, starting with their 2022 TV model lineup.
â
In a press release, Samsung announced that they are supporting NFTs by introducing the worldâs first TV screen-based NFT explorer and marketplace platform. The new platform will allow customers to browse, purchase, and display NFTs in one place. It will also allow creators to showcase their art to the world and potentially get buyers.
â
Samsung customers will be able to preview NFTs before they purchase them on the new TV screen-based NFT platform, as well as learn about the history of NFTs and blockchain metadata.
â
The platform will be made available when Samsungâs 2022 TVs begin to ship in the coming months. Besides being able to preview and purchase NFTs, Samsung will have a smart calibration feature on the new TV models which will automatically adjust the display settings to the NFT creatorsâ preset values that will make their NFTs look true to the original image quality.
Shiba Inu launches beta version of DAO
The second-largest crypto meme token, Shiba Inu has launched a beta version of a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO).
â
Announced in a blog post on Friday, Shiba Inuâs development team revealed the launch of a âDoggy DAOâ in order to reward SHIB users and take a step closer to becoming fully decentralized.
â
The DAOâs first phase will focus on âproviding immediate power to the community to decide which crypto projects and pairs on the ShibaSwap WOOF Pools will be, and how the $BONE rewards (Allocation Points) are to be distributed amongst them,â the team said.
â
Once the first phase is complete, Shiba Inu will release a newer version, called âDAO 2,â to allow the community to make general proposals around the development of the project that will be reviewed by SHIBâs Multisig-Team, and Breeds.
