Nvidia unveils AI Omniverse Avatar platform

Nvidia has introduced Omniverse Avatar, a new platform for generating immersive AI-driven avatars.

The platform combines multiple technologies, including speech recognition, synthetic speech, facial tracking, and 3D avatar animation, to create avatars that recognize speech and can efficiently communicate with other users.

During a presentation at the companys GTC conference, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang showed off demos using Omniverse Avatar tech. In one of the demos, a cute animated character helps a couple decide what they want to order in a restaurant. The character uses facial-tracking technology to keep eye contact with the customers and accurately respond to their facial expressions.

The dawn of intelligent virtual assistants has arrived, said Jensen Huang, founder, and CEO of NVIDIA. Omniverse Avatar combines NVIDIAs foundational graphics, simulation, and AI technologies to make some of the most complex real-time applications ever created. The use cases of collaborative robots and virtual assistants are incredible and far-reaching.

Time management is everything

Motivation is something that everyone struggles with. When you start to manage your time more effectively, before you know it, every day will be productive, even if youre not motivated.

Time management is the process of organizing and planning how to divide your time between specific activities, and is one of the most important skills to learn to become successful.

If youre an entrepreneur, one of the key things that should be prioritized is time management. As your own boss, as fun as it can be, it is often easy to feel like there isnt enough time in the day to get everything done. The better you prioritize your time and focus on work, the more successful youll become.

Managing your time doesnt only help you become successful. It also helps your mental health. Instead of procrastinating and taking all day to do a short task, complete it within a set period of time, and youll realize how less stressed you are.

One of the best benefits of mastering how you spend your time is that you will have more time to do other things, whether that is relaxing, spending time with family and friends, or maybe working on something else.

NASA delays crewed moon landing to 2025

NASA has announced its Artemis III mission wont be landing on the moon in 2024, and instead is aiming to launch the next year in 2025.

Originally, President Donald Trumps administration reported NASA would send astronauts to the surface of the moon by 2024, a lot earlier than the agencys 2028 target at the time.

The Trump administrations target of 2024 human landing was not grounded in technical feasibility, NASA administrator Bill Nelson told reporters on a conference call.

The Artemis program's first launch, the Artemis I, will mark the debut of the SLS, and carry an Orion capsule around the Moon on a multi-week trip. If the flight is successful, the Artemis II flight will launch with astronauts on board. NASA has announced that Artemis II wont launch until May 2024 at the earliest.
