NFT marketplace Rarible has added support for Polygon NFTs as part of its multi-chain expansion.
⠀
As its latest blockchain integration, Polygon will join Ethereum, Flow, and Tezos, which Rarible added support for back in December. Notably, OpenSea only supports Ethereum, Polygon, and Klatyn, so Rarible has taken the lead on multi-chain support for now.
⠀
Along with Polygon support, Rarible has also announced plans to launch its own multi-chain wallet in the future. Additionally, Rarible is adding the capability for fee-splitting and royalty standards for all ERC-721 and ERC-1155 tokens minted on its marketplace.
⠀
“Rarible understands the responsibility to democratize all aspects of NFTs for both creators and consumers,” Alexei Falin, CEO of Rarible, said in a press release. “A collaboration with Polygon is another achievement for Rarible Protocol that enables blossoming marketplaces and projects built within its ecosystem to access new communities and increase back-end capabilities.”
⠀
Polygon will work with Polygon Studios, its gaming and NFT arm, for marketing and tech support as part of the partnership.
