Remedy Entertainment Partners with Tencent on 'Vanguard'
To produce a co-op multiplayer game
Remedy Entertainment has recently signed a global development, license, and distribution agreement with Tencent to produce a brand new co-op multiplayer game.
⠀
The new co-op multiplayer game being produced by Remedy and Tencent is dubbed with the codename Vanguard. According to a blog post released by Remedy Entertainment, the new game will be “a free to play, co-op PvE shooter that is combined with Remedy’s narrative expertise and action gameplay into an immersive multiplayer experience.” Vanguard will be developed using the Unreal Engine for both PCs and consoles.
⠀
Besides developing the PC and console version of the upcoming multiplayer game, Tencent is given the worldwide right to develop and publish a mobile version of Vanguard in which they will be covering the costs of development. There is not much information about when we can expect the game to be released.
