To succeed in anything in life, it's important to not care about peoples opinions and judgement for the most part, and to never be a "people pleaser" who needs validation from others to make and decisions or risks. Here are reasons why you should stop caring what other people think.
It's your life
At the end of the day, when other people their negative opinions on your goals or dreams, they're not the person who is setting out to accomplish them, you are. Ignore others' negative opinions and instead put in the hard work and dedication needed to succeed and prove them wrong.
Others will hold you back
A big problem with constantly listening and following others' opinions about your life is that it will hold you back. Once you start forgetting what you want and instead only do what makes others happy, you will start to doubt yourself, and before you know it, you have completely stopped working on your goals and dreams.
You know yourself best
Nobody will ever know you better in your life than you. Only you know what is best for yourself and the possible consequences behind taking risks. It’s important to make your own decisions and to take full responsibility for them, so if you fail, you can learn from it and know it's nobody else's fault.
Rolls-Royce plans to only make electric cars
Rolls-Royce is the latest automaker to make the decision to solely sell electric vehicles within the next decade.
Plans for the future
Rolls-Royce, the British manufacturer of luxury cars and SUVs, announced yesterday that they will stop selling gasoline-powered vehicles by the end of the decade, and instead only sell only electric vehicles. Rolls-Royce CEO Torsten Muller-Otvos said that by 2030, the company "will no longer be in the business of producing or selling any internal combustion engine products."
First EV on the way
The Rolls-Royce Spectre, releasing in 2023, will be the automaker's first electric vehicle and will be tested this December by BMW. Currently, Rolls-Royce has kept the appearance of the car a secret, but they have teased the EV in a few images.
Been a long time coming
You might not believe it, but Rolls-Royce founder Charles Rolls said back in April 1900 that the future of cars would be EV powertrains, and even suggested vehicles "should become very useful when fixed charging stations can be arranged." After 121 years, his idea for the company is now becoming a reality.
