Snoop Dogg is turning Death Row Records into an NFT label
After recently acquiring Death Row Records, Hip Hop legend Snoop Dogg plans to turn it into an NFT label.
ㅤㅤ
In a Clubhouse room, he confirmed, “Death Row will be an NFT label. We will be putting our artists through the metaverse and through a whole other chain of music. Just like how we broke the industry when we was the first independent to be major…I want to be the first major in the metaverse so Death Row will be an NFT.”
ㅤㅤ
Snoop Dogg acquired Death Row Records from MNRK Music Group on February 9th for an undisclosed amount, according to Business Wire. Death Row was launched in 1991 by co-founders Suge Knight, Dr. Dre, Dick Griffey, and the D.O.C., and later signed Snoop Dogg in 1992.
ㅤㅤ
This news comes after Snoop debuted his latest album, "BODR” (Bacc on Death Row) on February 11th, which will soon be available on the blockchain in partnership with gaming platform Gala Games.
ㅤㅤ
When talking about his partnership with Gala Games on Clubhouse, Snoop shared his reason behind the move. “Blockchain tech has the power to change everything again and tip the table in favor of the artists and the fans, and we’re going to be right at the front of the pack with this Gala Music deal.”
Coinbase lets crypto recipients in Mexico cash out in local currency
Earlier this week, Coinbase announced it has launched a pilot program in Mexico, allowing cryptocurrency recipients to cash out their funds in pesos.
ㅤㅤ
In a blog post, the exchange introduced an instant way for people in Mexico to cash out crypto sent to them. Starting this week, recipients will receive a message in their Coinbase app after being sent crypto, giving them a choice to cash out or hold the funds in their account.
ㅤㅤ
For anyone that chooses to cash out their balance, they can generate a redemption code from their Coinbase app that can be used to receive cash at 37,000 physical retail outlets and convenience stores located across Mexico.
ㅤㅤ
If they decide to keep their funds on Coinbase, they can simply hold their crypto received or convert and invest their balance into any cryptocurrency available on the exchange.
ㅤㅤ
“That includes USDC, a stablecoin pegged to the US Dollar, which will help the recipient hedge against any devaluation of their local currency,” Coinbase said.
ㅤㅤ
The cash-out service will be free of charge in Mexico until March 13st. After that, customers will get charged an undisclosed nominal fee that will be “25–50% cheaper than traditional cross border payment solutions.”

Start outworking everyone
People rarely succeed in life by putting in very little effort every day. instead, you’ve got to believe in yourself and go the extra mile to do the hard work others avoid.
ㅤ
While there are, of course, many factors that hold people back in life, the main thing likely stopping you from achieving whatever may be is you.
ㅤ
In any field of work, there’ll always be someone working harder and better than you, but this shouldn’t stop you from putting in your all and instead motivate you to become focused and driven on your goals, to the point people question what you are doing.
ㅤ
Real commitment and hard work is key to unleash your potential both in life and in business. To outwork others to become the best, you must have the courage to venture into the unknown and learn to overcome any obstacles that come your way. Every task that you don’t want to do but know will benefit you in the long term is exactly what you should be doing.
ㅤ
Kobe Bryant is an amazing example of someone who dedicated his life to working harder than any other NBA player. From the age of 13, Kobe told himself he would become one of the best basketball players to exist, and from then, he let nothing stop him from reaching his goal.
Red Bull Racing sign $150m sponsorship deal with Bybit
F1 team Oracle Red Bull Racing has signed a sponsorship deal worth $150m over three years with crypto exchange Bybit.
ㅤ
According to the announcement, Bybit will work with the team on a range of activities as well as becoming its exclusive Cryptocurrency Exchange Partner and Tech Incubator Partner. To expand the teams' mission to grow fan engagement, Bybit will also issue fan tokens in the future.
ㅤ
This means the exchange will help the team distribute its digital asset collections and support other initiatives, including supporting the next level of talent through the Red Bull Technology Campus in Milton Keynes.

Oracle Red Bull Racing CEO Christian Horner explained the deal, saying, “They share the Team’s passion to exist at the forefront of technological innovation, to set the competitive pace and to disrupt the status quo. Allied to that is Bybit’s commitment to enlivening the fan experience in F1 through digital innovation.”
ㅤ
The Bybit deal comes just a week after Red Bull Racing announced software giant Oracle as their title sponsor last Wednesday, in a deal that was rumoured to be worth $300 million over the next five years.
