The Witcher Season 2 official trailer released

Even more monsters

Netflix has released the official trailer for season two of The Witcher, teasing the “end of days” and even more monsters than we seen in the first season.

The trailer shows Henry Cavill's Geralt travel to his childhood home of Kaer Morhen with Princess Cirilla, so she can train to become a monster-hunter herself. To no surprise, we’ll be seeing even more monsters in the upcoming season, so Geralt will be working ever harder to take them down.

Fan favourite Jaskier is featured in the new trailer, as he is shown sitting alone in a prison cell with his iconic lute and his new mice friends until Geralt arrives to ask him for help.

The Witcher Season 2 will debut on Netflix on December 17th, 2021. There are also two animated Witcher films, The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf, which is already out and tells the origin of Geralt’s mentor Vesemir. The Witcher: Blood Origins is a live-action prequel series set 1,200 years before Geralt, exploring how the Witchers came to be.
