The Xbox Fridge is open for preorders

*sigh*.. time to make room for a second fridge

It’s time to Xbox and Chill, as Microsoft has released a new Xbox Series X mini fridge, which is now available to preorder from today (October 19th) for $99.99 (£89.99 / €99). We know you want one.. you aren’t kidding anyone.

The real question.. how much can it hold?

Exactly 12 cans of drink, with two shelves inside the door to hold snacks for those long gaming sessions. It even has a USB section at the front to charge devices.. through your fridge.. something we weren’t expecting to say anytime soon.

If you want to show off your Xbox mini fridge, you can. The chilled piece of tech comes with a DC power adapter so it can be portable and taken anywhere. As wild of a piece of tech as this, you have to give Microsoft props for leaning into the meme and making it.

When can we get our hands on one?

After preorders, the mini fridges are expected to ship at some point throughout December of this year, and Microsoft has partnered with Game in the UK, and GameStop EU, Micromania, or Toynk in Europe, and Target in the US to sell them.

The Xbox Gear Shop will soon be selling the fridge in Canada too. So if you want one of these stunning Xbox theme’d fridges, you’ve got a lot of options of where to get one. It’s time to get rid of that computer under your desk, and pop in your new fridge.
