Waze and Headspace

Experience stressful commutes? the community-driven map app Waze announced today it’s partnering with Headspace to release a ‘Drive with Headspace’ experience.

⠀

Best way to relax

The Drive with Headspace experience includes five moods to make drives more enjoyable, Aware, Bright, Hopeful, Joyful and Open, along with the option to change the in-app car icon to a calming hot air balloon. Users can also relax to a dedicated Spotify playlist, which features music from Headspace, through the Waze Audio Player.

⠀

It isn’t a chore

Just when it seems like it couldn't get any more relaxing, Headspace’s director of meditation, Eve Lewis Prieto, will give users directions. In a Waze blog, Prieto explained her love for meditation. “Rather than thinking of meditation as a chore or something extra to do, I think about it as a treat for me, especially on days where my mind feels very busy and occupied."
